The road to enlightenment may be the road less traveled, but it doesn’t have to be.

Looking around me, a shift is definitely presenting. Some folks have referred to these times as messianic, or apocalyptic. To others, the breakdown of patriarchal hierarchies in government, gender, race, and families speaks to an influx of radical love, and concern for the success of WE over the victory of ME.

Things appear to be playing out accordingly. Corruption is running rampant, the environment is on the precipice of collapse, and a sea of inequality floods the planet. But to think that people had it better in other times is a lie.

Better for who?

The dark reality of our situation is that it reflects how shitty we have been to each other going back millennia. But with equal clarity, the path to enlightenment is coming into focus. The pull between the past, the present, and the future is palpable.

Everything we thought we knew is up for review. Just because something was doesn't mean it was good.

Hard to be believe I captured anything by Dennis Prager in my work, but at the time I liked the title of his book. Suffice it to say, not that!

A deep scrutiny of our past beliefs and actions is required. It’s ok to have gotten something wrong. To have not had all the information. To have learned better.

The evolutionary potential of these times lies in our perspective. In our willingness to be accountable. In our ability to shift from a pursuit of victory, to a pursuit driven by a desire for better.
