My personal healing journey was not prompted by a traumatic event, but rather an existential crisis that occurred in 2015.

Disillusioned, distressed, and depressed - I felt compelled to feel better.

A turbo charged quest for information ensued and swiftly developed into a highly personalized curriculum, aka Me University. My book documents my experience.

Guided by my intuition, I continue to consume a steady stream of content from varied sources in the form of books, movies, podcasts, videos, TedTalks, instagram, etc from folks both notable and unknown.

I also benefit from traditional psychology, self-help, spiritual practices, music, and art.

Sometimes the path takes me on a deep dive, sometimes I just skim the surface.

Take what resonates, leave the rest.

  • Here is a sampling of the media that has helped me better understand this moment of transition and my place in it from my humanest POV.

  • Here is how my art provides a lens that continues to expand the scope of my vision.

  • Here is how I hear my heart. It sounds like the language of my ancestors blended with the words of my tongue today.

  • Here are a few recommendations for alternative practitioners who provide both in-person and on-line support. I offer this small sampling to give you an idea of what worked for me personally and to encourage you to be open to the vast array of healing options.

  • Here is a listing of local, regional, and national service support information complied by The Pete Foundation including addiction aid, suicide prevention, psychiatrists, psychologists, and healing apps.

Disclaimer: my work is not a replacement for psychotherapy or medical consultations. Healing is a multifaceted journey and I encourage you to find the combination of practitioners and practices that are right for you.
